Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Altamonte Springs, FL. Duties:
  • Data Engineer will build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and integrations
  • Develop reporting solutions, KPIs, dashboards, and business insights
  • Troubleshoot data quality, integration, and processing issues across platforms
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and validate data accuracy
  • Develop and optimize Snowflake procedures, SQL, Python code, and data transformations
  • As a Data Engineer, you will create and manage Azure Data Factory (ADF) workflows and automation processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to source, validate, and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Support ongoing improvements to data architecture, performance, automation, and AI capabilities within Snowflake

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical role
  • Strong hands-on development experience with Python
  • Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT processes
  • Experience working with Snowflake as an enterprise data platform
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex data issues
  • Experience developing and maintaining data orchestration workflows
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
  • Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries and stored procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Experience with Streamlit for application development and user-facing data solutions
  • Experience working with Snowflake Cortex/Copilot AI capabilities
  • Experience building data-driven applications leveraging AI and machine learning services
  • Experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, or financial data environments
  • Familiarity with Epic Clarity data models and healthcare analytics

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
