    Description

    IDR is seeking a Data Conversion Tester to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Olympia, Washington . In this role, you’ll lead critical data conversion and migration efforts supporting a large-scale public sector modernization initiative. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, complete, and business-ready data through multiple conversion cycles and production cutover.

    Position Overview for the Data Conversion Tester:

    • Lead end-to-end data conversion and migration activities across the program lifecycle
    • Develop and manage data conversion strategy, approach, plans, and execution
    • Coordinate data extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation activities
    • Drive conversion testing cycles including mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production conversion readiness
    • Identify and resolve data-quality issues, defects, dependencies, and conversion risks with cross-functional teams

    Requirements for the Data Conversion Tester:

    • 3–5 years of experience leading enterprise-scale data conversion or data migration initiatives
    • Demonstrated ownership of data conversion activities through the full project lifecycle
    • Prior experience supporting State or Government programs/projects
    • Strong expertise in data extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation
    • Proven ability to lead multiple conversion cycles and resolve complex data-quality and migration issues
