Cognizant is a large IT Consulting Firm that leverages modern technologies to transform a variety of business operations. The AR Data Collections team supports user experience, engineering and software development teams to manage new products and programs. We are looking for a Data Collection Specialist to work with our team to facilitate various data collections projects, document known issues and gather feedback on client products. This team member will interact with internal and external study participants, gather and categorize data, document daily activities, and should have hardware integration experience (understand interactions between host computers and connected devices over wired/wireless technologies).
Please note that this role is 100% onsite in Atlanta, GA. Only local candidates will be considered.
Role Responsibilities

At lease a High School diploma is required; A Bachelor''s is preferred
1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Customer relation management skills
Ability to provide instructions, guide users and support them through remote troubleshooting clearly and effectively
Ability to clearly and effectively identify issues and escalate them timely, based on instructions provided
Ability to operate and proficiently use various hardware and devices
Ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment
Able to follow guides that contains instructions on:
Commands to run on physically connected devices
Using the command line to move/copy files to connected devices
Using shell scripts
Basic HW debug skills to validate and test the units
Advanced queries or data manipulation techniques
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong hands-on knowledge with Linux (comfortable in the terminal/console with SSH experience)
Android DataBase programming language proficiency
Android DataSuite Proficiency
Flashstation experience
Able to use VSCode to remotely debug collection stations
Able to read/edit JSON files (if database needs editing)
Able to quickly understand and get familiar with custom Hardware solutions
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate issues with detailed reproduction steps to stakeholders with various degrees of technical knowledge
Able to provide feedback when new hardware doesn't meet expectations (w.r.t., fit, hardware quality, comparing with previous iteration to determine differences)
Attention to detail and thorough workstyle
Experience working in digital/technology companies with tech products
Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment with minimum supervision and a high degree of autonomy
Must be a self starter, with willingness to embrace change, quickly learn new technologies, work closely as a member of cross functional teams, and be open to new ideas and processes
Responsible for fulfillment/completion of deliverables within area of responsibility within set timelines
Knowledge and interest in AR/VR
Fluency in the English language.
