Description

SURESTAFF is hiring a for a Data Collection & Scheduling Manager for a large printing client in Morton Grove, IL. The Data Collection & Scheduling Manager is responsible for coordinating data collection, production scheduling, and workflow activities to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role works closely with clients, production teams, department leaders, and other internal partners to gather and maintain accurate project information, develop schedules, monitor workflow, and address potential delays or issues.

Available shifts include: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 1st shift

Responsibilities of the Data Collection & Scheduling Manager:
  • Collect, organize, and maintain accurate project and production data.
  • Coordinate production schedules based on job requirements, deadlines, resources, and priorities.
  • Monitor workflow and job status to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Communicate scheduling updates, changes, and potential delays to appropriate teams.
  • Work closely with production departments to coordinate resources and capacity.
  • Review job information and identify missing or inaccurate data that could impact production.
  • Maintain accurate records and update scheduling and production systems as needed.
  • Prioritize jobs based on client requirements, production needs, and established deadlines.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts and work with department leaders to develop solutions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on production schedules, workload, and project status.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflow, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Escalate issues that may impact production timelines, quality, or client commitments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications of the Data Collection & Scheduling Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2 plus years of experience in scheduling, data coordination, production planning, or a related field; experience in a print or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and make sound scheduling decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
  • Experience with EFI Pace or similar production management software preferred.
