- Electrical or low-voltage wiring
- Experience in the trades
- This position requires a hands-on individual with experience installing and supporting data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment and performing physical installation and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Perform the physical installation, relocation, and removal of data center equipment, including servers, network switches, storage systems, racks, and structured cabling.
- Install, label, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling.
- Travel to company data center and colocation facilities as required.
- Support a 24x7x365 operation, including the ability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays.
- Safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work comfortably and safely on ladders and in raised floor or overhead cable environments.
- Follow established safety procedures and data center operational standards while performing all installation and maintenance activities.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a production data center
