Akkodis is seeking a Data Center Technician Junior for a Contract with a client in McCarran, NV. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on data center tasks such as replacing computer parts and installing ethernet/fiber cables while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Rate Range 28.34/hour to 30.34/hour The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Responsibilities

• Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the data center environment.
• Assemble/disassemble and populate/depopulate equipment racks as required.
• Replace computer hardware parts and perform basic repairs using hand and power tools.
• Run and install ethernet and fiber optic cables following defined processes.
• Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools for inventory and tracking.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hardware handling or data center operations.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment with frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Basic knowledge of computer components and proficiency in common computer applications.

Pay Details 28.34 to 30.34 per hour.
