Summary:
The Data Center Technician I provides entry-level operational and technical support for the Datacenter Operations Center (DOC) within the U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Information Management and Technology (OIMT). This position supports the 24x7x365 monitoring and operation of the Albuquerque Data Center (ADC), a commercially owned, government-operated Tier III data center, ensuring the availability and reliability of enterprise infrastructure systems.
The technician assists with monitoring infrastructure systems, performing routine operational checks, supporting equipment installation, and responding to operational alerts under the guidance of senior staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree or combination of education and experience

Support would include (but not limited to) administration and configuration of datacenter infrastructure and support management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with data center monitoring tools or IT infrastructure management systems
Experience working in enterprise IT or government environments
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar
