Senior Project Superintendent

Reporting into senior project leadership, the Senior Project Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure successful project delivery from mobilisation through completion.

  • Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
  • Drive a proactive safety culture across subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to manage program, staffing, and project financial performance
  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules, including short-term look-ahead planning
  • Coordinate and lead subcontractor performance, workflow sequencing, and site logistics
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, compliance records, and close-out activities
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support successful project outcomes

The successful applicant will have:

  • Minimum 8 years of construction field leadership and project execution experience
  • Proven experience leading large, complex industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, data centre, or similar projects
  • Ground-up industrial construction experience strongly preferred
  • Hyperscale data centre and semiconductor project exposure considered highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop field personnel and subcontractor teams
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, sequencing, and document interpretation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction technology platforms
  • Experience with Procore, JDE, scheduling software, and related project management tools preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally and relocate between projects as business needs require
