Data Center Project Manager

Northern Nevada has quietly become one of the busiest data center corridors in the West, and the Sparks area sits right in the middle of it. A well-established general contractor is looking for a Data Center Project Manager to help deliver mission-critical projects for some of the region's biggest builds. If you like fast-moving work, great people and projects you can point to with pride, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

• Manage data center projects from preconstruction and buyout through startup, commissioning and turnover
• Keep budgets, schedules, cost reports, change orders and pay applications on track
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for owners, designers and trade partners
• Plan procurement and delivery for long-lead equipment like switchgear, generators, UPS and cooling systems
• Work hand in hand with field leaders on safety, quality, logistics and phased energization
• Support and mentor assistant project managers and project engineers

What You Bring

• Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical construction (required)
• Working knowledge of critical power, mechanical cooling, MEP coordination and integrated systems testing
• A track record of delivering projects safely, on time and on budget
• Strong organization, clear communication and a team-first attitude
• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
