Penmac Staffing is hiring Data Center Operator | Lead for a growing data center operation. This hands-on leadership opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a team, solving problems, and helping drive daily operational success. As an Operator Lead, you will provide day-to-day direction to Data Center Operators while actively participating in production and workflow activities.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.50 per hour
Schedule:Full-Time Available Shifts:
- Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:30 PM
- Thursday-Sunday, 6:30 AM-5:30 PM
Requirements for the Data Center Operator | Lead- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous Lead, Team Lead, or similar leadership experience
- Experience in a data center, warehouse, manufacturing, production, logistics, or fast-paced operational environment preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to coach employees and provide constructive feedback
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs
- Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to learn and follow established procedures and quality standards
Data Center Operator | Lead Responsibilities- Provide daily leadership and support to Data Center Operators
- Coordinate workloads and ensure assignments are completed accurately and on schedule
- Work alongside team members and assist with operational tasks as needed
- Train new employees on procedures, safety practices, and quality expectations
- Monitor productivity, quality standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identify workflow concerns and communicate issues to leadership
- Serve as a resource for employees when questions or challenges arise
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with processes
- Coordinate with other departments to support efficient operations
- Assist with attendance tracking and timekeeping processes, including timecard exceptions
- Provide backup support to supervisors when needed
- Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment
