Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Data Center operation Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Jordan UT. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Agentic AI Platforms, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning, along with proven experience troubleshooting and recovering complex enterprise AI deployments.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $39/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Center operation Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Fix/install new servers.

• Help test and troubleshoot new server hardware components.

• Install switches, routers, and other networking gear.

• Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-related issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma. GED at the minimum.

• 5 years of experience working with PC hardware.

• 2 year of Linux experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience troubleshooting OS, network equipment, and software.

• Able to lift/move 50 lbs of equipment daily.

• Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Shift work

• Must be willing and able to be flexible in work schedule, including working holidays and shift-based schedules
• Typical schedule Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. If weekend work is required on Sat/Sun then they get 2 days off during the week. (usually 2 days off in a row). The pay for weekend work is a +15% shift differential.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.22 per hour
