Data Center Infrastructure Project Manager Contract: 6-12 months (with potential extension) Location: Dallas, TX (100% ONSITE)
We are seeking an experienced Critical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex data center and infrastructure projects from planning through delivery. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, facilities, infrastructure groups, and external vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements. This is an in-person role in the DFW area with travel between facilities as needed.
Requirements
5+ years of project management experience in data center, critical infrastructure, or technology environments
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking
Prior Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) implementation experience
Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management skills
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio
Ability to align technical solutions and project deliverables with business requirements
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Ability to travel to various facilities in DFW area as project needs require
Duties
Lead end-to-end delivery of critical infrastructure and data center projects, including builds, expansions, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning activities
Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, facilities, infrastructure teams, and external vendors
Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, risks, issues, and deliverables
Ensure projects meet applicable safety, security, compliance, and regulatory standards
Support infrastructure capacity planning and long-term data center strategy initiatives
Communicate project status, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables to stakeholders
Coordinate activities across multiple facilities and vendors as needed
