Data Center-HVAC Apprentice Mechanic

Total Compensation: $70-110K(significant OT needed)

 

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated, mission-focused talent to join an industry-leading building automation and climate systems organization. This role is open to all qualified candidates, with a strong preference for military veterans and transitioning service members who can translate technical adaptability, operational discipline, and problem-solving abilities into a rewarding civilian career.


You will work alongside technicians on high-impact commercial infrastructure projects. 

Looking to leverage your mechanical aptitude and expand your knowledge in advanced HVAC systems? Full technical instruction and formal industry certifications are provided.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC units and building automation systems.
  • Complete structured technical training courses to earn trade certifications and unlock career advancement opportunities.
  • Fulfill initial union apprenticeship standards and course requirements.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4+ years of mechanical troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, or military technical experience (MOS/Rating in mechanical, electrical, or hull maintenance preferred).
  • Base understanding of mechanical equipment and system maintenance practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional conduct when representing the organization.
  • Self-motivated with the discipline to operate independently in high-demand environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Formal technical education, trade school background, or military specialized training.
