Data Center Engineer

We're partnering with a leading, technology-driven firm to add a Data Center Engineer to their infrastructure team. This is a highly hands-on role focused on supporting and scaling mission-critical data center environments, where reliability, precision, and performance are key.

What You'll Do

• Maintain the integrity and uptime of global data center environments
• Perform rack and stack, hardware installations, and decommissioning
• Execute structured cabling across network and server infrastructure
• Monitor environmental conditions including power, cooling, and airflow
• Support and maintain optimal A/C and power systems within facilities
• Contribute to data center expansion and capacity planning initiatives
• Own and maintain accurate documentation within DCIM tools
• Perform Windows and Linux server administration tasks
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data center engineering or operations
• Strong background in rack and stack and network infrastructure cabling
• Experience with enterprise hardware (HP, Dell, IBM servers; SAN; Cisco equipment)
• Exposure to backup technologies and infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in production environments
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams and with external partners
• Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability
• Experience maintaining clear and accurate technical documentation
