Data Center Critical Operations Engineer I (Swing Shift)

Location: Denver, CO
Schedule/Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Pay: $34.00 to $40.00 per hour, with eligibility for an annual bonus and equity based on individual and company performance

Job Summary

The Data Center Critical Operations Engineer I helps operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the systems that keep a data center running reliably. This role supports electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire and life safety systems, responds to equipment issues, and assists with customer infrastructure projects. The engineer works with technicians and vendors while following established procedures and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical facility systems to support data center uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire and life safety equipment.
• Respond to system alerts and equipment issues using established procedures.
• Support customer infrastructure projects and coordinate work with technicians and vendors.
• Document work performed and communicate equipment status and operational concerns.
• Follow safety standards and identify opportunities to improve facility operations.

Job Requirements

• Experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems in a data center, critical facility, or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of cooling systems and facility safety procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate findings clearly.
• Ability to work the scheduled swing shift, Tuesday through Saturday.
• Relocation assistance and sign on bonuses are available for qualifying candidates.
