Grow. with us.What you'll be doing:This Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer is needed to support Data Center Managers to ensure all facility duties are run to meet TMNA data center standards.A person who is familiar with data center design, IT floor space management, cabinet power and U-space management, electrical, environmental, and mechanical equipment supporting the data center (e.g. HVAC - Heating Venting Air Conditioning, UPS, and Generators).This person will also need to build, manage, and maintain MEP monitoring tools utilizing Vertiv Sitescan and/or APC Data Center Expert/IT Advisor for performance, availability, reliability and security of IT resources. Support of data center staff to provide continuous business operations.Ensure business requirements are met by providing operational support of multiple complex IT production platforms to support the 99.99% data center uptime objectiveSchedule:40 Hours a week with some infrequent overtimeSome evenings or weekends support requiredOccasional travel required to support data center critical facilities activitiesQualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills:Experienced managing APC DCE/ITA and Vertiv Sitescan environments and serversUnderstanding of HVAC, UPS, ATS and Generators functions and alarmingBackground in incident ticketing and change management applicationsGood verbal and written communication skills utilizing Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Continuously investigating new technologies to maintain industry leading edgeAbility to inventory items in the data center and document themPleasant professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to follow directions well using Client 2 pillars of respect for others and continuous improvementAbility to work in a collaborative environment supporting immediate and cross-functional teamsAble to utilize data center guidelines and best practices and identify deficienciesApproach everything with a TMNA IT first mindsetAt least 3 or more years of experience with admin capabilities.Added bonus if you have (Preferred):Overseeing vendor implementation of electrical, environmental and mechanical equipment improvementsEnsure that maintenance activities are performed (by vendors) within manufacturer recommended schedules or within industry standard time intervalsResearching, recommending, planning, and overseeing vendor implementation of electrical, environmental, and mechanical equipment improvements.Ensure Request for Change procedures for data center facilities service, repairs and improvements are in place before any work is performed. This oversight validates change activity is planned reviewed, scheduled and scripted (critical operating equipment only) before any work is performed.Enforcing physical access, safety and security policies for restricted data center areasProven working knowledge of Servers, Storage and Networking in a data center environment (e.g. Nutanix, Client, VMWare, Cisco Switches) is a huge plusBi-lingual (English/Spanish)V2Soft is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
