    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, terminate, label, and test CAT6 structured cabling and fiber optic cable (single-mode and multi-mode) in industrial and heavy commercial environments.
    • Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cabling through ceilings, trays, wall systems, and conduit runs per project drawings and site requirements.
    • Install and run conduit including 3/4" aluminum, Robroy PVC-coated, stainless steel, EMT, and rigid conduit in warehouses and plant facilities.
    • Build out MDF/IDF closets including racks, patch panels, cable management, grounding, and labeling.
    • Install and upgrade network switches, wireless access points, CCTV cameras, fire alarm components, internet connections, and access control hardware.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, site maps, scope documents, and as-built drawings to plan cable routing and equipment placement.
    • Conduct cable testing, certification, and system verification to ensure compliance with TIA/EIA standards, NEC requirements, OSHA regulations, and client specifications.
    • Operate boom lifts and scissor lifts safely at heights of 40 feet or more.
    • Maintain daily project documentation, closeout packages, and testing records using smartphones or tablets.
    • Travel to project sites across Midwest states based on a rolling project schedule and planned rotations.
    • Follow company safety programs and site-specific safety procedures at all times.
    • Perform other duties as assigned
