We are seeking a skilled professional to design and manage the data framework of our organization. This pivotal role involves setting policies for data storage and access, coordinating data sources, and integrating new technologies into existing IT infrastructures. Located at the Louisiana State Office Building, LA, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design the vision and blueprint of the organization's data framework.
- Manage data systems and coordinate various data sources within the organization.
- Integrate new data technologies into existing IT infrastructures.
- Perform data modeling and design, including software development and database administration.
Requirements
- Ten (10) plus years of professional experience in data ecosystems.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries, building ETL pipelines, and designing data architecture.
- Experience working with public health agencies (e.g., CDC, NIH, or State Departments of Health) to modernize legacy data infrastructures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- US Citizen work authorization required.
- Available to work from 7:00 AM CT to 6:00 PM CT.
