Job Title: Databricks SME
Work Model - Onsite Everyday - Dallas
Length- 6 month contract to hire

Notes: We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong functional and technical expertise to lead data platform initiatives. This role requires deep experience in Databricks architecture, data engineering, and business-facing analytics, including reporting and dashboard development. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions.
*It will be someone with Data background who has done the medallion architecture( Databricks data flow) , with functional knowledge and reporting background. This product is technical and reporting and nothing functional as it will be covering all functional areas.
Top Skills:
-Serve as the Databricks SME, leading end-to-end data solutions across engineering, modeling, and reporting
-Design and optimize scalable data pipelines using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, SQL)
-Translate business requirements into data models, KPIs, and actionable analytics
-Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
-Ensure data quality, governance, and performance while integrating data from multiple sources
