Introduction
Join our team as a Data Engineer 4, where you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data products and features. This position involves collaboration with product owners, data analysts, and business partners using Agile/Scrum methodology.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- 10 years of experience in large-scale software development, with 5 years of big data experience
- Programming experience, with Python or Scala preferred
- Experience working with Hadoop and related processing frameworks such as Spark, Hive, etc.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2. Relocation/ Remote is not allowed.
- Experience working in a public cloud environment, particularly AWS, Databricks
- Experience with cloud warehouse tools like Snowflake
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data products and features
- Implement distributed data processing pipelines
- Work with engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented
