    JOB DESCRIPTION: Data Analyst Student Support The Data Analyst is responsible for monitoring and supporting the collection and analysis of discipline and attendance data and providing administrative support to personnel under the supervision of the Data Administrator of Student Support. Additionally, this role involves working with the Analyst Team, as needed, to provide support to schools on critical PowerSchool processes. Minimum Qualifications:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Demonstrates technical skill set and significant experience, with the ability to work independently. Create requested reports related to enrollment, discipline and attendance Assist with monitoring student absences and truancy processes/procedures Extract and monitor reports through PowerSchool and ALSDE to assess attendance and discipline trends Collaborate with school staff daily to assist with correcting attendance/discipline entry errors Assist with importing truancy activity files into PowerSchool to support District Resource Officers Monitor student enrollment for transitional students assigned to alternative placement through due process hearings Develops and maintains basic/advanced reporting capabilities within PowerSchool. Monitor due process hearings and results Track in database to provide reports Performs additional duties as assigned.
