Job title: Data Analyst
Duration: 15 months with possible extension
Location: Mclean, VA -Hybrid
Rate: $50-$55/hr on w2 - without benefits
Introduction
The Card Data Management (CDM) organization is the risk steward ensuring a well-managed data ecosystem for the organization. CDM serves as the governance function accountable for the organization's data risk. CDM is on a transformational journey to build out the data governance control framework, focusing on automation and preventative controls to unleash the business for future data needs including generative AI and new third-party data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pyspark, Databricks, and BI tools (Quicksight preferred)
- Strong communication skills to translate technical work to business stakeholders
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency
- Proactive and independent troubleshooting skills
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in developing and improving data management-related controls and reporting
- Strong understanding of data environments and a passion for innovation and automation
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally across business units
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and continuously improve Card’s data management controls
- Apply a strategic mindset to Card’s data footprint while developing technical improvements
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights
