Data Analyst - New York, NY - Contract - W2 - $74-84 per HR
Description
- Lead strategic financial crime compliance initiatives for a global investment bank.
- Define and implement crypto financial crime operating models and data architecture.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across compliance, financial crime operations, data, and technology functions.
- Develop and optimize transaction monitoring frameworks and detection scenarios.
- Design blockchain intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Define end-to-end data flows and integration architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams for scalable implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define target operating models for crypto AML and sanctions investigations.
- Advise stakeholders on crypto financial crime risks and governance.
- Design workflows for alert generation, triage, and case management.
- Lead workshops with compliance and technology stakeholders.
- Drive requirements definition and solution design.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in financial crime compliance, AML, KYC, or transaction monitoring.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in crypto AML and blockchain risk management.
- Deep understanding of crypto compliance controls within global banking environments.
- Experience with blockchain intelligence platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial crime data models and counterparty intelligence concepts.
