    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Data Analyst II to support a key innovation program by ensuring the effective collection, management, analysis, and visualization of program data.

    This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of data quality, developing actionable dashboards and reports, and generating data-driven insights that support informed decision-making across cross-functional teams.

    The ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis, data quality management, dashboard development, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, JMP, and Excel.

    Key Responsibilities

    Data Analysis & Quality Management

    • Support the design and implementation of data capture processes to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent collection of program data.
    • Monitor and validate data quality, identifying discrepancies and resolving data-related issues.
    • Establish and support data governance and data quality best practices.
    • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights.
    • Ensure data integrity, accessibility, and alignment with program objectives.

    Dashboard Development & Reporting

    • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
    • Provide visibility into program progress, milestones, KPIs, and outcomes.
    • Translate business requirements into meaningful analytical solutions and data visualizations.
    • Support KPI development and performance reporting.
    • Recommend improvements to reporting and analytics capabilities.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with program stakeholders to understand business and reporting requirements.
    • Collaborate with technical, engineering, business, and program management teams.
    • Present analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Support data-driven decision-making across the program.

    Data Governance & Continuous Improvement

    • Establish and maintain documentation for data definitions, reporting methodologies, and data management processes.
    • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting, and analytics processes.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality and analytics.
    • Help establish consistent processes and standards for program data.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 1–5 years of experience in data analysis, data quality management, and dashboard development.
    • Proficiency with one or more analytics and visualization tools, including:
      • Power BI
      • Tableau
      • Python
      • JMP
      • Microsoft Excel
      • Similar analytics platforms
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting R&D, innovation, product development, or technology programs.
    • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
    • Experience developing KPIs and performance reporting frameworks.
    • Experience working in cross-functional environments involving engineering, business, and program management teams.
    • Experience translating business requirements into dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.
