    Data Analyst IV

    Burbank, CA (Hybrid - 3-days on-site)

    9+ month Contract

    Modernization of a 25 year old application, someone who likes transoframtion projects would really enjoy it. The new tech is very modern.

    Daily Responsibilities:

    • Will need to understand the current landscape - interviewing teams to get understanding
    • More autonomous 70/30 - they need to recreate the documents on how things were currently and then implement new ways

    Technology requirements:

    • SQL server
    • How integrations work (how data is integrated through ETL and API)

    Degree or certifications required:

    • Bachelors required in CS or Engineering
    • Data certifications are nice to have

    Years experience:

    • 10 years minimum - to understand the analysis

    Required background/ Skillsets:

    • Any industry is fine as long as the data experience is there
    • Focused on integrations, need data mapping experience -
    • Data architect experience

    The Job:

    The main function of a data analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.

    The Daily - Major Activities:

    • Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.
    • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
    • Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
    • Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
    • Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.

    The Essentials:

    • Bachelor''s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
    • Experience with database technologies.
    • Knowledge of the ETL process.
    • Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
    • Demonstrated history of success.
    • Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.
    • 10+ years of experience
