About This Opportunity:

InComm is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join our team, focusing on data quality and automated reporting. Interns will gain hands-on experience with SQL, SSRS, and Power BI while working on real projects. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will learn to reverse engineer SQL code and create and modify stored procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data collection, and data quality checks using SQL.
• Create and maintain data documentation and metadata.
• Work closely with senior data analysts and data engineers to diagnose reporting concerns.
• Collaborate with other data analysts and team members on data-related tasks and projects.
• Gain practical experience in creating reports, and dashboards.
• Communicate data findings and recommendations to senior data analysts and data engineers.
• Participate in key meetings such as planning, touch-bases, and deployments.

Qualifications:

 

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Students currently enrolled in a local Metro-Atlanta University set to graduate December 2027 - May 2028 preferred. 
• Proficient in using data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, or SAS.
• Familiar with data visualization tools and software, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Passion for learning and growing in the data field.
