Contract Position | 12 Months W2 Pay Rate: 43.70 - 64.19 Join a Team That Powers Alaska's Energy FutureWe are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst III / Information Analyst to support our Operations Information Management team in Anchorage, Alaska. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of maintenance and engineering data systems that support North Slope operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) expertise, master data management experience, engineering documentation knowledge, and oil & gas operational understanding. This position works closely with engineers, maintenance personnel, operations teams, supply chain organizations, and field personnel to ensure critical business data remains accurate and actionable. Key Responsibilities- Support and resolve change requests within the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module.
- Maintain and improve master maintenance data including equipment records, functional locations, and related documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate data changes across multiple systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP PM functionality and maintenance workflows.
- Review and validate engineering documentation, P&IDs, and equipment data for accuracy.
- Support engineering teams with process documentation, datasheets, and technical records.
- Facilitate digital package reviews with field operations and maintenance personnel.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, governance, and business processes.
- Develop tools and processes to identify and correct data discrepancies across maintenance and asset management systems.
- Collaborate with Capital Projects, Supply Chain, Materials Management, and Operations teams to ensure efficient data flow and system accuracy.
- Provide guidance and training to end users on maintenance data systems and reporting capabilities.
- Support company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives and actively participate in proactive safety processes.
Required Qualifications- Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office applications, SAP, and database systems.
- Advanced understanding of oil & gas operations, maintenance processes, equipment, and engineering documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships across engineering, maintenance, operations, and business teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications- 3+ years of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) experience.
- 3+ years of SAP Document Management System (DMS) experience.
- 2+ years of SQL experience.
- Experience with maintenance master data management and asset hierarchies.
- Experience supporting equipment records, functional locations, and maintenance workflows.
- Experience with purchase orders, requisitions, and material management processes.
- Bluebeam Revu experience.
- Experience supporting oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of CMMS, EAM, or asset management systems.
