The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Clinical Supply Systems Analyst for a prominent client of ours.  This position is in Lake County, IL 60064. Details for the position are as follows:

Clinical Supply Systems Analyst

Location: Lake County, IL
Schedule: Hybrid – Monday/Friday Remote; Tuesday–Thursday Onsite
Contract: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $46–$49/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Supply Systems Analyst to support systems, reporting, data management, and process improvement activities within a Clinical Supply Management organization. This position will work closely with clinical supply, business, and IT partners to support system functionality, master data, reporting, training, system lifecycle activities, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JasperSoft reporting, SQL/relational databases, and clinical supply or clinical supply systems. This role requires someone who is comfortable working across both business and technical teams and can independently troubleshoot system and data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, ad hoc views, statistics, and KPIs using JasperSoft and related reporting tools.
  • Utilize SQL/PSQL and relational databases to support reporting, data analysis, and system activities.
  • Perform master data management activities, including data classifications, mappings, and system updates.
  • Support day-to-day administration and functionality of Clinical Supply Management IT systems.
  • Investigate system questions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with internal IT teams and external system providers when necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain system training materials and conduct training for new users.
  • Support system lifecycle activities, including documentation, UAT, system access approvals, upgrades, and system changes.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of interfaces between clinical supply systems and other business systems.
  • Support development of user requirements and testing of new or enhanced system functionality.
  • Develop and optimize processes from initial concept through testing and implementation.
  • Prepare and update SOPs, work instructions, and training documentation related to clinical supply systems.
  • Support change control and change management activities.
  • Communicate with global system users to resolve inquiries, evaluate processes, and support system improvements.
  • Utilize AI and prompt engineering techniques to support automation, optimization, and efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant professional experience; candidates with a Master's degree may qualify with approximately 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with JasperSoft/JasperReports or a closely related reporting platform.
  • Strong SQL/PSQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience supporting clinical supplies, clinical supply systems, clinical drug development, or related pharmaceutical systems.
  • Experience working with business or IT systems, including system support, reporting, data management, or system enhancements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical development, GMP, or GCP experience.
  • Experience with master data management, UAT, system lifecycle activities, or change control.
  • Experience creating dashboards, KPIs, and business reports.
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering or AI-enabled process automation.
  • Experience developing or supporting SOPs, work instructions, and system training materials.
