Everforth ECS is seeking a Data Analyst, GEOINT Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), to work at our Dayton, OH customer site.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and final acceptance by government customer.
Data Analyst - GEOINT Technical SME Work Role:
The Data Analyst work role encompasses a comprehensive skill set focused on leveraging data to enhance organizational performance, ensure security, and drive strategic decisions. This includes the technical depth of integrating, developing, and maintaining analytic models, visualizations, and tools specifically designed to deter, detect, and mitigate insider threats by identifying anomalous events. A core function is the application of industry-standard data science principles to develop and sustain risk scoring tools and other data analytics implementations while supporting system integrity by capturing and analyzing metrics on system errors, failures, and data transfers. Complementing this technical expertise is the breadth of business analysis, which involves collaborating with project requesters, stakeholders, and managers to refine project requests and clarify business objectives. These professionals use data analytics to derive actionable business insights, draw logical conclusions, develop forecasts, identify organizational inefficiencies, and ultimately recommend and implement strategies to improve overall performance.

ECS gained market share in 2011 in the Department of Defense and Federal spaces through both organic and acquisition growth. In May, ECS completed its first strategic acquisition with the purchase of OAK Management, Inc., a leading provider of marine environmental services, ship systems engineering, maritime consulting and platform acquisition management. The OAK acquisition kicked off ECS’ intention to add tactical acquisitions as a part of its long term strategy to supplement and expand upon organic growth and to build enterprise value. In 2012, ECS completed the acquisition of iLuMinA Solutions, Inc. iLuMinA brings large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation and infrastructure design and development to ECS’ expanding capabilities.
