Job Summary: Dashboard Experience Developer - Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
About the Role
Join a dynamic analytics team as a Dashboard Experience Developer and play a pivotal role in shaping user-facing data experiences. You'll design, build, and optimize dashboards, reports, and widgets for a centralized analytics repository, directly impacting how users interact with critical business data. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Engage with users, product owners, engineers, and analytics teams to gather and refine reporting requirements.
- Translate complex data into actionable, easy-to-understand dashboards and widgets.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, layouts, and interaction flows aligned with user needs.
- Define and enforce design standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for reporting.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure dashboards are scalable and implemented accurately.
- Conduct usability reviews and iterate on feedback to enhance dashboard experiences.
- Document dashboard logic, metric definitions, and provide clear user guidance.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation of reporting solutions to ensure accuracy.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in dashboard development, data visualization, UX design, or product analysis.
- Proven ability to design and implement dashboards, reports, or widgets.
- Expertise in creating wireframes, prototypes, and dashboard layouts.
- Experience validating dashboard outputs against source data or business rules.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, or Superset.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and dashboard development.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, backlog refinement, and iterative product delivery.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Big Data technologies.
- Cloudera Admin or Developer Certification.
- Certification in Cloud, Docker-Container, or Openshift technologies.
