About the Role
At Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Marlton, our instructors build careers around teaching, creativity, movement, and meaningful connections with people. It's a professional environment where you can develop new skills, grow your career, and do work that's engaging and rewarding.
As a Dance Instructor, you'll work with individuals and groups of all experience levels, helping students learn to partner dance and while developing your own skills as a teacher and performer.
Professional dance experience is not required. We provide training.Day-to-Day:- Teach private and group lessons in ballroom, Latin, swing, and other social dance styles
- Create routines based on individual student goals and abilities
- Help the studio grow lasting professional relationships with students and support their progress
- Adapt lessons to keep students engaged and progressing
- Participate in showcases, competitions, and special events
- Continue developing your teaching, communication, and performance skills
Who We're Looking ForWe're more interested in
how you work with people than whether you already know ballroom dancing.
You may be a great fit if you:- Communicate well and enjoy working with different personalities
- Are encouraging, energetic, and comfortable being active
- Have experience in dance, fitness, yoga, athletics, performance, teaching, coaching, hospitality, or customer service
- Are professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Are motivated to learn and build a career
Desired Experience (Preferred but not Required):- Prior experience in dance instruction, choreography, or performance
- Knowledge of ballroom, Latin, or social dance styles is a strong plus
- Natural ability to motivate others
- Patient, and passionate about sharing the art of dance
- Arthur Murray certification
