This part-time, onsite role helps participants build coordination, musicality, and confidence through age-appropriate class content.Key responsibilities include:- Teach foundational technique, rhythm, and simple choreography for multiple youth age groups- Prepare lesson plans that match class level and keep students engaged- Maintain clear class organization, supervision, and safety expectations- Communicate professionally with families and staff to ensure a positive program experienceRequired qualifications/skills:- 5 years of dance experience- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children- Energetic, dependable, and able to lead groups with a positive tonePay is $12–14/hour DOE. As music starts, you guide warm-ups, then move into skill-building combinations and short routines tailored to the group’s age (3–5, 6–9, or 10+). Between songs, you offer clear cues, quick water breaks, and encouragement that helps each child feel capable. You close class with a cool-down and a brief wrap-up so families leave knowing what was practiced and what’s coming next. The schedule is TBD, with sessions focused on creating a fun, safe, and consistent experience.
