US-based Dynamics 365 Sales / Power Platform Architect to lead solution architecture and delivery for a financial-services client's Japan rollout. This person will combine deep Microsoft CRM and Power Platform expertise with Japanese language communication skills to align US and Japan based business, technology, and delivery stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Architect and oversee implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, including lead-to-opportunity, account/contact management, activities, pipelines, forecasting, and relationship-management workflows.
Design scalable Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Power Pages where applicable.
Lead requirements discovery, solution design, technical governance, configuration standards, security roles, integration patterns, and deployment planning.
Partner directly with Japanese business and IT stakeholders, translating functional needs into clear architecture, user stories, and implementation plans.
Define integration approaches across D365, enterprise data platforms, identity/security systems, collaboration tools, and financial-services applications.
Ensure designs meet enterprise standards for security, auditability, data privacy, role-based access, and regulatory controls.
Guide development teams, review solution quality, manage technical risks, and support testing, cutover, adoption, and post-launch stabilization.
Produce executive-ready architecture documentation, roadmaps, estimates, and decision materials in English and Japanese as needed.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM implementation experience, including significant hands-on architecture experience with Dynamics 365 Sales.
Deep expertise in Power Platform: Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, security, environments, solutions, ALM, and governance.
Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs, Azure integration services, middleware, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of CRM data models, customer lifecycle processes, sales operations, pipeline management, and reporting.
Experience working in regulated industries, ideally financial services, banking, insurance, asset management, or payments.
Professional Japanese and English communication skills, including the ability to run workshops and explain technical concepts to Japanese business stakeholders.
Ability to work from the United States while supporting a Japan-based program; flexibility for recurring early-morning or evening overlap meetings is required.
Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with senior business and technology leaders.
