    Certified Pharmacy Technician - Compounding

    Job Type: Full-time

    Overview

    The position is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to oversee and grow compounding capabilities while serving as a subject matter expert on compounded treatments. This role focuses on quality, patient safety, and compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations.

    Shift Options:

    • Front Half: Sunday-Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Back Half: Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Donut: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Ohio
    • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
    • Hospital or compounding experience preferred
    • Familiarity with USP <795>, USP <800>, and non-sterile compounding
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance
    • Organized, dependable, and collaborative

    Key Responsibilities

    • Compound non-sterile medications according to prescription orders and site SOPs
    • Clean, calibrate, and maintain compounding equipment and workspaces
    • Stage raw materials and manage non-sterile compounding inventory
    • Maintain batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs
    • Follow USP <795>, USP <800>, and applicable state and federal requirements
    • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and compliant work environment
    • Complete training, competency assessments, and annual revalidation
