The D&T Manufacturing Cyber Technology Engagement Lead is a business-facing role with a requirement for technical understanding, but more importantly, the ability to understand and communicate effectively with the business. The role supports communication and adoption of new technologies across the company's employee base. Bringing to bear other D&T teams, this role drives service improvement and addresses business requirements. The role proactively acts as service champion and conduit for new tech deployment, ongoing service, support, stability and compliance across a geographic remit.

The Manufacturing Cyber Technology Engagement Lead works with their locations and corresponding D&T (Digital & Technology) teams to drive all engagement, project and cyber activities at assigned sites in relation to manufacturing and overall Technology Experience at their locations.

This role ensures that:

D&T has the appropriate engagement at all levels with their locations. Where projects are being delivered at the site that D&T is involved and ensure that any technology being delivered is aligned with the tech/cyber standards that are in place. That all systems, servers, and PLC devices follows company's standards and guidelines, and we have mitigated all cyber risks as appropriate

The Manufacturing Cyber Technology Engagement Lead will collaborate with the Business, and other relevant D&T teams to ensure any new initiatives follow company's Standards and Guidelines and all IS related activities have followed all of the associated D&T processes.

The Manufacturing Cyber Technology Engagement Lead role will also work closely with the D&T Business Partners to support the implementation of the D&T Supply Manufacturing Strategy.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Be the face of D&T at their locations and support the D&T Plan business partner with engagement for their locations.

  • Mitigate the cyber risk to our manufacturing environments through regular scanning and remediation, being responsible for the vulnerability and controls management.

  • Support on delivery of projects/initiatives at a location level, ensuring that any technology that is implemented is aligned to the relevant standards and policies.

  • Accountable to ensure all systems, servers, and PLC devices follow company's standards and guidelines at assigned North America Supply manufacturing sites.

  • Support Business as Usual (BAU) processes for the site(s) to enable day-to-day operation of D&T Services

  • Establish a trusted face of D&T.

  • Management and coordination of local and central D&T service partners

  • Contribute to the D&T IS agenda as well as local and global IT projects as required

  • Follow the framework that has been set by the organization to provide approvals related to hardware issuance, software installation (where applies).

  • Be a great partner within D&T and with other functions

  • Proactively build and manage relationships with the business.

  • Act as a point of contact for the business around support for D&T Services and help to find opportunities to improve D&T services supporting business needs within the global support model and framework.

  • Build and manage relationship within D&T function regionally and globally.

  • Build and manage relationship, and interact with local and central IS service partners

  • Vendor relationship management with local and global vendors to ensure SLA is met.

  • Training of end-users on tools and services

  • Prioritization of aligned outcome, great teammate with a good degree of independence in handling the scope of work to support business unit

  • Provide local support to offshore teams in the delivery of services. This includes active participation in service reviews, perform activities "on the ground " (hands and eyes) improvement plans among other actions with Internal delivery teams and service partners

Span of responsibility:

  • Support company locations while extending support to other sites/warehouses in multiple locations depending on business requirements.

  • Stakeholder/ User management and engagement:

  • Proactively engage with end users to identify and support ongoing business needs, coordinate communications and events to keep them informed of service reviews, improvements plans, outages and techs available seeking to deliver a brilliant Technology experience.

  • Address employee service concerns and critical issues from the tech and process perspective.

  • Delivery partner/vendor Performance and Service Level Management - ensuring internal and 3rd party teams deliver services upon SLAs and internal control framework.

  • Market information / cyber security management

  • Support embedment and communications of technologies, services and security guidelines to improve experience with services. This includes supporting employees to understand company technologies, identify and drive opportunities to use it and championing use

  • Actively support deployment of up-to-date IT infrastructure platform standards (laptops, network, VC, WiFi, etc) in the geography. Support and coordinate deployment of Workplace techs and confirm appropriate service wrap is available to provide stable and reliable services.
