A leading diagnostic laboratory in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area is looking for a Cytotechnologist to join its team! Minimum of 1 year of GYN, non-GYN, and FNA screening experience preferred.

A leading diagnostic laboratory in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area is looking for a Cytotechnologist to join its team!

Position Highlights:

• Opportunity to work in a professional anatomic pathology laboratory

• Perform gynecologic, non-gynecologic, and FNA cytology screening

• Participate in continuing education and professional development

• Collaborative laboratory environment focused on quality patient care

Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate GYN, non-GYN, and FNA cytology specimens

• Identify abnormal cellular changes and refer cases to pathologists as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation and quality control standards

• Participate in CAP surveys, proficiency testing, and continuing education

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Cytotechnology program required

• CT (ASCP) certification required

• Minimum of 1 year of GYN, non-GYN, and FNA screening experience preferred

• 3+ years of cytotechnology experience a plus

• Molecular technology training or certification a plus

• Strong knowledge of anatomic pathology and medical terminology

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
