- Title: Cytotechnologist
- Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital (*Occasional travel to other BayCare facilities may be required for coverage)
- Schedule: Full Time
- Shift: 7:30AM - 4:00PM
- Weekend Work: Occasional
- On Call: No
Responsibilities:
- Perform cytotechnology testing.
- Assisting with the preparation of cytology specimens and fine needle aspirations.
- Classifying and evaluating specimens and referring cases to pathologists.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, supplies and instrumentation.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985).
Required Licensure/Certification:
- ASCP certification
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory licensure - Cytology
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years of experience in Cytotechnology
