Cytotechnologist

Responsible for the preparation, processing, and screening of cytologic specimens in compliance with policies of the department and the medical center. Duties include, but not limited to, prepare reagents for procedures.. . Dupreparing reagents for procedures; performing cytology prep, performing routine maintenance on lab instruments and equipment;maintaining supplies; assisting pathologist and/or radiologist with cytology‑related procedures, maintaining departmental statistics, overseeing the CAP cytopathology checklist. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors Degree; ASCP registration as a Cytotechnologist; minimum of two yearsrecent experience as a Cytotechnologist Applicants must have: A passion for caring for a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab.
