Responsibilities:Under the direction of a Pathologist, in this role the Cytotechnologist will perform the following job duties:
Responsible for the fixation, preparation and quantitative and qualitative analysis of human cell samples.
Record keeping and documentation of daily work, diagnostic results and quality control.
Perform specialized and complex technical tasks involved in screening slides of clinical specimens to detect evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions. These samples include GYN, Non-GYN and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) specimens collected from all anatomic sites.
Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education: Completion of formal training at an accredited school of cytotechnology or college degree in related area.
Necessary Skills:
Required Licensure/Certifications: Florida Cytotechnologist License
Preferred Licensure/Certifications: Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License in Cytology
Required Experience: Less than one year
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of experience in cytotechnology
