GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: A cycle counter is responsible to count, inspect and verify on-hand inventory to achieve and maintain high level inventory accuracy and integrity.

Shift Available: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform system generated cycle counts, verifying the quantity and product on-hand is accurate. Use RF Handheld Barcode Scanner to process products while cycle counting. Investigates inventory discrepancies for reconciliation and inventory adjustments in the system. Investigates and helps determine the cause of errors for corrective action and continuous improvement. Operates an order picker, standup reach truck and fork truck as needed to access products. Works with auditors to understand cycle count procedures and perform counts required for auditing. Responsible for helping maintain warehouse and location cleanliness while performing cycle counts. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of the job function while using safe lifting requirements. Record daily productivity on Progress Control Boards per Lean Philosophy. Meet and exceed daily productivity and quality standards. Must perform within the Company Safety Program and Polices. Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse as needed. Able to stand for extended periods of time, lifting multiple pounds regularly.

KNOWLEDGES:

Must be a self-starter, motivated and focused to work independently within the established perimeters assigned. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively. Some Computer Skills and basic math skills needed, able to use a calculator. Ability to use a piece/weight count scale. Attention to detail and organization skills needed. Learn Lean Philosophy within the organization to focus on and participate in Continuous Improvement & Learning to improve processes, efficiencies and increased profitability.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience with a Barcode Scanning System/handheld preferred. Forklift Certification preferred (order picker, reach truck) must be able to pass the forklift certification test. Cycle counting experience is a plus.

EDUCATION:

Requires a high school education or equivalent

Candidate assessment : To determine your professional skills required for the position, you may be asked to take part in assessments, tests and interviews (physical or video). Do we transfer your personal data?

The Manitou Groups Data Center is based in France. For some of the services we offer (particularly those accessible via the web), we use specialist partners (considered as subcontractors) who may host data outside France and the European Union. For example, we use partners such as IT service providers, social network providers and marketing agencies.

How long will your personal data be kept?

Your personal data is kept for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes, in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations and internal procedures. In this context, your personal data is processed for a maximum of twelve months after the last use of your candidate account. In the French companies of Manitou Group, personal data is archived for a maximum of five years after the last use of your candidate account. Rights of access and rectification: You have the right to request access to your personal data and to rectify inaccurate data.
