Title: Cybersecurity Training Analyst (Number of Openings: 3)
Location: Fort Meade, Maryland (100% Onsite)
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Training Specialist to develop and maintain cybersecurity training based on emerging threats, new processes, and customer requirements. This person will work directly with the customer to create new training, update existing curriculum, and track personnel qualifications, certifications, and expiration dates to ensure ongoing compliance and workforce readiness.
Key Requirements:- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Active IAT level 2 or IAT level 3 certification
- Hands-on experience with the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
- 6 – 12 years of experience developing and updating cybersecurity training and curriculum
- Experience tracking certifications, qualifications, and training compliance
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Cybersecurity Training Analyst to support the Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC). This position involves developing and managing cyber training programs to ensure personnel maintain readiness standards. The analyst will also support cyber exercises and brief senior leadership on training effectiveness and workforce readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and integrate the cyber training program, including updating the curriculum and materials annually.
- Develop and update training curriculum, create lesson plans, define learning objectives, and build training paths from foundation to expert level.
- Support the design and execution of cyber exercises, including developing objectives, creating evaluation criteria, and participating in planning.
- Track workforce certifications and training completion to ensure compliance with workforce improvement program standards.
- Assess readiness by measuring proficiency against mission essential tasks, collecting data, and building reports for leadership.
- Provide research and analysis to define cyber training requirements, procedures, and future strategies.
- Brief senior leadership on training status and readiness.
Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4 to 8 years of applicable combined education and experience. Additional related years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience:- Must have experience with at least one of the following systems: Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), or Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).
- Must have solid knowledge of the Joint Training System and be familiar with the Joint Planning Process (JOPP) and Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC).
Technical Skills:- Must hold an IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CND, GSEC, SSCP, GICSP).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with DISA and other government networks.
- Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.
