Job Overview:
FOCUSPOINT is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer for one of our clients. This role is ideal for a security-focused IT professional with experience in network protection, threat detection, and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Monitor networks for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents
- Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing
- Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, SIEMs, and endpoint protection
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
- Train employees on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
- Proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
- Experience with network security, encryption, and access control systems
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ preferred
