Oracle ERP Security & Risk Management Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Employment Type:  W-2 Contract Consultant

Duration:  4-Month Contract

Travel Requirement:  Up to 25% Travel to Chicago, IL

Primarily Remote with Occasional Client Travel

Position Overview

DTI is seeking an Oracle ERP Security & Risk Management Consultant to support a critical cybersecurity and compliance initiative involving Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle Risk Management Cloud integration.

This consultant will serve as a key member of the Oracle ERP Application Security and Controls team, supporting the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of security controls across the Oracle Cloud ecosystem. The primary focus of this engagement is integrating Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) with Oracle Risk Management Cloud while ensuring proper governance, segregation of duties, compliance monitoring, and application security controls.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Cloud security design, Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC), user access controls, segregation of duties (SoD), role design, and security testing within enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities

Oracle ERP Security Administration

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle ERP Cloud security models.
  • Configure and manage user roles, privileges, data access controls, and security policies.
  • Evaluate and improve application security controls across Oracle ERP environments.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC)

  • Configure and support Oracle Risk Management Cloud modules and functionality.
  • Assist with the integration of EPM and Oracle Risk Management Cloud solutions.
  • Support access certification, segregation of duties (SoD), and preventive controls initiatives.
  • Develop and execute testing scenarios to validate security controls and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in risk assessments and control design reviews.

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of governance, risk, and compliance processes.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and remediation of security and compliance risks.
  • Analyze user access and security configurations to identify potential control weaknesses.
  • Help maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

Security Testing & Validation

  • Develop and execute security-related test cases.
  • Validate user access controls, workflows, approvals, and segregation of duties rules.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and security validation activities.
  • Document testing results and remediation recommendations.

Documentation & Compliance Support

  • Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, control matrices, and configuration guides.
  • Support internal and external audit activities.
  • Prepare compliance reports and evidence packages.
  • Ensure security and governance processes remain current and properly documented.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with ERP functional teams, cybersecurity teams, compliance stakeholders, auditors, and project leadership.
  • Participate in project workshops, design reviews, and status meetings.
  • Provide guidance on Oracle ERP security best practices and governance standards.
  • Support knowledge transfer and user training efforts as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud application security.
  • Experience with Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC) configuration and testing.
  • Understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) principles.
  • Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) concepts and access control frameworks.
  • Experience performing security assessments, access reviews, and control validation.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP role-based security models.
  • Experience supporting security-related testing and compliance initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating Oracle EPM and Oracle Risk Management Cloud.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Financials Cloud, Procurement Cloud, or Supply Chain Cloud.
  • Exposure to enterprise cybersecurity programs and internal audit functions.
  • Experience supporting SOX, regulatory compliance, or governance initiatives.
  • Understanding of identity and access management concepts.
  • Experience within highly regulated industries such as utilities, financial services, healthcare, or government.
  • Prior consulting experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.
