We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with strong Network Security expertise to design, implement, monitor, and maintain security controls across network, cloud, server, endpoint, and application environments. The ideal candidate will have 4 6 years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on exposure to security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and enterprise security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls across network, cloud, server, endpoint, and application environments.
  • Monitor and investigate security events using SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring tools.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, remediation tracking, and security risk mitigation.
  • Support incident response activities including threat detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Configure and manage security technologies such as:
    • Firewalls
    • IDS/IPS
    • WAF
    • DLP
    • IAM
    • Endpoint protection solutions
  • Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and DevOps teams to implement security best practices.
  • Assist with security audits, compliance assessments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
  • Identify emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security trends and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
  • Participate in security investigations, incident analysis, and root cause analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement of enterprise network and cybersecurity controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Network Security.
  • Strong understanding of network security concepts, security architecture, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Hands-on experience with security monitoring and incident detection.
  • Experience working with SIEM and EDR solutions.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, risk management, and remediation processes.
  • Experience with security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP, IAM, and endpoint security.
  • Understanding of incident response and security incident lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as:
    • NIST
    • ISO 27001
    • SOC 2
    • PCI-DSS
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with infrastructure, cloud, application, and DevOps teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with enterprise network security environments.
  • Exposure to cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management tools and security assessment methodologies.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
  • Experience with security automation and scripting is a plus.
