Job Title: Cyber Security Cloud Engineer

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Location: Dallas, TX

Required Pay Scale: 85-90HR W2 (NO C2C)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Automation Engineer to build production Python solutions that automate cloud-security workflows across AWS and Azure. The role involves integrating security platforms and APIs, developing AI agents and MCP services, and deploying scalable automation using Terraform and modern DevOps practices.

The role involves integrating security platforms and APIs, developing AI agents and MCP services, and deploying scalable automation using Terraform and modern DevOps practices.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems
• Strong hands-on Python development experience
• Experience deploying and operating backend services in AWS or Azure
• Cloud security experience involving vulnerability management, security posture, threat detection, or incident response
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, security tools, or data collectors
• Hands-on experience building scalable data-ingestion or automation workflows
• Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong knowledge of Git, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding practices
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience

Desired Skills

• 5+ years of cloud security engineering experience
• Strong security experience across AWS and Azure
• Experience with CSPM tools such as Wiz
• Experience integrating CrowdStrike, SOC platforms, or security-event sources
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, tool calling, or AI workflow orchestration
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Claude Agent SDK, Claude Code, or AgentCore
• Experience designing or deploying MCP servers and services
• Experience with TDD, BDD, or specification-driven development
• 3+ years of DevOps or platform-engineering experience
• Experience automating vulnerability prioritization and remediation
