Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Cyber Security Architect for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will drive enterprise security architecture by translating business and cybersecurity requirements into scalable, secure solutions that support cloud, hybrid, and AI-enabled environments.

Rate Range: $75/Hour to $80/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Cyber Security Architect Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles across cloud, hybrid, and AI-enabled environments.

• Develop secure reference architectures, technology standards, and governance frameworks to support scalable application and infrastructure solutions.

• Architect and review identity, workload, API, and data security controls to ensure compliance, resilience, and risk mitigation.

• Collaborate with business, engineering, and technology teams to translate cybersecurity requirements into practical and reusable security solutions.

• Drive threat modeling, security assessments, and architecture reviews to identify risks and guide remediation strategies.

• Provide technical leadership for secure software delivery practices, embedding security controls, automation, and verification throughout the AI-native SDLC.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including 7+ years focused on enterprise architecture, security architecture, or related disciplines.

• Strong expertise in Cyber Security, Zero Trust architecture, cloud and hybrid environments, identity and access management, and application security.

• Proven experience designing secure, scalable enterprise solutions and defining architecture standards, governance frameworks, and AI-native software delivery practices.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
