We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our information systems and protecting our networks from threats and attacks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cybersecurity areas, including barracuda, Information Security, VPN, firewall, active directory, Linux, artificial intelligence, Microsoft 365, support, vulnerability assessment, Firewalls, and SIEM.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and analyze our networks for any unusual activities or potential threats and respond promptly to any security breaches.
2. Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and active directories.
3. Use Barracuda and other cybersecurity tools to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
4. Perform regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses and implement solutions to address them.
5. Use SIEM to manage security incidents and events and provide real-time analysis of security alerts.
6. Work with artificial intelligence to predict potential threats and improve our security measures.
7. Provide support to other team members and train them on best practices for information security.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest security trends and threats and implement necessary updates to our security systems.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the overall security of our information systems and networks.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Expertise in Barracuda, Information Security, VPN, firewall, active directory, Linux, artificial intelligence, Microsoft 365, support, vulnerability assessment, Firewalls, and SIEM.
4. Strong knowledge of current security risks and protocols.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and react to security breaches.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical team members.
7. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage.
8. Experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
