We're looking for a Cyber Recovery Engineer with strong infrastructure/DevOps experience to support enterprise resilience, disaster recovery, and clean room recovery operations within a highly regulated enterprise environment.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in backup/recovery platforms, DR testing, infrastructure operations, and automation who wants to grow deeper into cyber resilience engineering.
Responsibilities
Support cyber recovery and disaster recovery exercises
Maintain and monitor backup/recovery platforms
Execute restore procedures and recovery runbooks
Assist with clean room and isolated recovery environment (IRE) operations
Support recovery automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Maintain audit, compliance, and recovery documentation
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams
Required Experience
8+ years in infrastructure engineering, IT operations, or backup/recovery engineering
Experience in financial services or another regulated environment
Hands-on experience with DR testing, backups, and restore operations
Experience with Cohesity, Rubrik, Veeam, Zerto, Commvault, or NetBackup
Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VLANs, firewall rules)
Familiarity with FFIEC, NIST, or similar regulatory frameworks
Nice to Have
Clean room or isolated recovery environment (IRE) exposure
Terraform or Ansible experience
ServiceNow or ITSM workflows
Cyber recovery / ransomware exercise participation
Security or cloud certifications
