Cyber Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) / Cybersecurity Consultant with a leading Big 4 Consultancy.

Role: Identity & Access Management (IAM) / Cybersecurity Consultant

Location: Remote (United States)

Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $90-$100/hour (for a rockstar candidate)

Responsibilities

• Bring 10+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience supporting enterprise-scale security and identity initiatives.
• Apply working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Assess application authentication methods, federation patterns, provisioning integrations, and user lifecycle management processes.
• Inventory applications, analyze dependencies, document current-state environments, and support IAM migration planning.
• Develop technical documentation, including architecture documents, requirements matrices, process flows, decision logs, and project deliverables.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code concepts, including Terraform, source control, and deployment pipelines.
• Support Okta-to-Entra ID migration programs, including application assessment and migration planning.
• Work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Apply cybersecurity principles and best practices within regulated industries, such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare.
• Maintain a high level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and respect in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Consultant, Cybersecurity Analyst, IAM Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
