Weld Instruction: Provide hands-on training and mentorship to structural welders; facilitate new-hire weld testing and skill validation.
Quality Auditing: Perform precise visual and dimensional inspections on complex manufacturing weldments.
Code Verification: Ensure active shop procedures, techniques, and welding configurations strictly meet AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and critical customer codes.
NDT Oversight: Review and map destructive and non‑destructive testing documentation for compliance.
Traceability: Maintain accurate, complete inspection reports, weld maps, and quality tracking records.
